H+ Hotel Berlin Mitte

The room was nicely furnished!

Loved our rooms still on my card.

We had a room that didn't face the street and it was very quiet. Room was comfortable enough and clean. Fridge and Tea/Coffee making facilities a bonus for a German Hotel.

The pillows, very very flat and even with two wasn't very comfortable, which was a shame because the bed itself was very comfortable.

The breakfasts with many options.

Location of Hotel Berlin Mitte was excellent. Good traffic conditions, also everything (sights in Berlin) within walking distance. Quiet place. Also having supermarket downstairs was extremely practical. Hotel was new and clean. Excellent breafast buffet. Helpful personnel. Hotel suitable for families and couples. The choice could not have been a better one in Berlin, I can say, with the price paid. - Good offer in Booked.net; this meant a double room for use of a single person. So, we were two persons and had had both own rooms; we even got the larger rooms in 1st floor with were meant for handicapped; could not be better! Thank you, hotel Berlin Mitte.

Location looks very convenient to move around, near to the hotel everything is available, if you a new to this area not geting any difficulty to find places. Hotel atmosphere is very good and resturants and bar very good

Despite the description, there is only free wi-fi in the lobby (available in the room but euros 5 per hour). Also the do not have meeting rooms. I selected the hotel based upon both of these and was very disappointed.

Location

I found the reception staff very rude and not at all friendly. In fact when checking in the receptionist dealt with me as if I was stupid. She had a very condesending attitute.

The hotel was very comfortable and welcoming. We especially liked the ''wetroom'' shower which was great.The overall cleanliness of the hotel was faultless.We had asked for a room on the first floor and this request was granted. Our friends' room was next door and both rooms were at the back of the building so they were very quiet and peaceful.. We found the staff helpful and obliging.We liked the hotel very much and would stay there again and recommend it to friends.

The lounge/foyer area was rather small,so that there was not much public space to sit around and read or chat( not enough chairs forexample) and this limited area was used also as a welcoming area by travel companies which made it more cramped. It must be said that this is common in most city centre hotels and therefore is not intended as a complaint but rather as an observation which you might find helpful.

Great breakfast selection.

The Hotel is not airconditioned as advertised. It only has heating. This means you have to sleep with the windows open to the street noise. Emergency vehicles are frequent past this hotel as it is on a main street. Also, a mutli-storey building is being constructed next door and construction noise is constant! Do not expect any sleep at this hotel. None of the staff could get the internet working. Do not stay here if you are a business traveller of need internet.

Location: the hotel was just next door to the best supermarket that sells hot food that was a bargain and tasty + bonus has tables and chairs to sit down and eat in there and Alexanderplatz, Brandenburger Tor, the Reichstag, Tiergarten and museum island with Berliner Dom. Had supper enjoying drinks at nearby Relax.
